Although during a talk we can explain what we do, give you examples and make it as interactive as possible, why not come and see an adult court in operation

We can offer escorted visits to the North Cheshire Magistrates Courts to see first-hand the criminal justice system in operation.  Groups should be no bigger than 20 and, if students wish to attend, they must be 12 years old or over.  Organised visits start at 9.15 a.m. with a preview of the court and questions answered by a magistrate.  This is followed by time spent in a live adult court seeing and hearing what happens.  (The public are excluded from both Family and Youth Courts.)

If you don’t want to attend an escorted visit you can attend independently.  Court sessions are open to the public with the morning session starting at 10.00 a.m. and afternoon session starting at 2.00 p.m. Monday to Friday.
